The lively Irish bar The Points, in the heart of Newcastle’s city centre, turns five this month and will be marking the occasion with an unmissable party on Friday September 27th.
At the fifth anniversary party, guests will be able to enjoy performances from Irish dancers and live music, with bands performing famous Irish folk and rock songs. To celebrate, there will be a wide selection of drinks on offer including speciality cocktails, a variety of whiskeys, and of course, Guinness will be in full flow.
Hidden underground, the well-loved Newcastle city centre bar is inspired by a fusion of Irish and New York underground nightlife and has a capacity of 350 people. Dancing is very much encouraged at The Points, but guests can also can sit by the fireplace and surround themselves with old Irish collectables and idyllic framed photographs to transform them to a different time.
The Points provides Newcastle’s party-goers with the ultimate night out every Friday and Saturday and has become a staple to Newcastle’s bustling nightlife over the last half decade.
The celebration party will be open to the general public and will kick off at 8:30pm on Friday 27th September, continuing into the night until close.
