London’s newest whiskey destination, Odyssey, home to over 600 varieties of American whiskey, boasting the largest collection in the UK, is kicking off with an exclusive opening party on Friday 18th October, in partnership with Yellowstone Bourbon.
Whiskey lovers are invited to join the festivities, with special guest Stephen Beam, seventh-generation Master Distiller at Limestone Branch Distillery – where Yellowstone Kentucky Straight Bourbon is born – and a descendant of the legendary Beam and Dant whiskey families.
This exciting launch event will celebrate the best of bourbon, with rare Yellowstone Whiskey expressions available for purchase and as an added exclusive, attendees can have their purchased bottles signed by Stephen Beam himself.
The opening party will start from 9pm and the guest list is live now with free entry and receive a welcome cocktail upon arrival. Simply visit Odyssey’s website here, sign up the newsletter and you will be automatically added to the guest list.
Yellowstone expressions available for purchase on the night include the first two releases from the Yellowstone Special Finishes Collection: Yellowstone Toasted Finish and Yellowstone Rum Cask Finish, as well as Yellowstone Family Recipe. This recreation of the original Yellowstone recipe was unearthed by Stephen Beam after he found it scribed in a notebook belonging to his grandfather, Guy Beam. The Yellowstone Family Recipe is created from this exact recipe, paired with the original yeast cloned from a jug belonging to his great-grandfather, Minor Case Beam. The result is a truly unique Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
Part of the London Bourbon Experience, a self-guided cocktail tour of London’s best bars, founded by Michele Reina, international brand educator for Luxco, Odyssey isn’t just a bar; it’s a celebration of hospitality in the purest form, a place where drinks enthusiasts can come together to explore, learn, and connect.
While exploring exceptional whiskeys, guests can enjoy the captivating atmosphere within the expensive lounge area, fuelled by electro-jazz music as they take in the futuristic, space-inspired interior. Featuring celestial lighting and sleek, modern décor, the Odyssey bar experience will transport guests to another world.
A selection of food freshly prepared by Odyssey’s kitchen, with culinary inspiration taken from the Mediterranean to the Americas, will also be on offer, and guests can look forward to securing some fantastic merchandise during the night.
