GLOBAL pioneer in Pan Asian cuisine and renowned US hospitality brand P.F. Chang’s, has reopened its doors following a complete interior overhaul at its bustling Leicester Square venue.
The £450,000 refurbishment has been designed by Zebra Projects, a global architecture practice headquartered in London, and will see the London restaurant showcase a new bold design, inspired by the P.F. Chang’s immersive and unique dining experience.
Located at 10 Great Newport Street and owned by franchisors Zaf Holdings, the restaurant is steeped in London history, having once been the site of a Rolling Stones recording studio.
Spanning 4,500 sq ft, with capacity for 134 guests, P.F. Chang’s London features vibrant murals in red and gold, each representing a different traditional Asian tale. The site also features a range of decorative patterns that pay homage to the rich cultural diversity of Asian design, as well as nods to the brand’s iconic golden horse, a symbol of strength that has become synonymous with the P.F Chang’s brand.
Arif Jivraj, CEO of Zaf Holdings Group, said: “We’re excited to be entering a new chapter for P.F. Chang’s London as we unveil our new look. We’re delighted that our central London venue will now more closely represent the incredible design and visual attention to detail that is central to the global P.F. Chang’s brand.
“We’re incredibly passionate about giving our loyal patrons, new guests and international fans of P.F. Chang’s an experience that is second-to-none, not only in terms of exceptional service but also in the way of delicious food. So, in addition to stunning new interiors, there’ll also be a few new surprises on the menu too. Our latest sushi offering is not one to be missed, and follows our from-scratch and MSG-free approach to cooking, which allows us to bring simple yet flavoursome ingredients to the table every time.”
As part of the London restaurant updates, guests will also be able to enjoy a delicious array of handcrafted sushi dishes, such as the Kung Pao Dragon Roll, Dynamite Shrimp Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll, upon its reopening.
These options will be added to the menu alongside much-loved favourites, such as Original Dynamite Shrimp, Chang’s Lettuce Wraps and its mouthwatering Mongolian Beef. At the bar, guests will also be able to enjoy P.F. Chang’s iconic cocktails crafted with traditional techniques, with highlights including the Lychee Dream and Chang’s Mai Tai as well as popular mocktails, the Lychee Passion and Mango Strawberry Cooler.
Rafik Farouk, senior director of global brands at P.F. Chang’s, said: “The United Kingdom is a very important market for us. We have more than 300 restaurants in over 23 countries. In each one, we execute our brand mission and offer our guests immersible experiences through our passion for hospitality and culinary arts. This remodel is a key part of that strategy. It has been fantastic to work alongside the Zaf Holdings team as we embark on a new era for P.F. Chang’s London, and we look forward to showing diners our brand new look.”
