Tom Grennan popchips collaboration launched at Gunnersbury Park, as lucky fan stars in exclusive video, coinciding with the announcement of Tom’s new single ‘Higher’

A very tasty lineup hit Gunnersbury Park in August, with Tom Grennan’s biggest ever headline show and marking the start of a landmark collaboration between popchips and Tom, helping to make the everyday pop with positivity!
As KP Snacks kicked off their music festival partnership with Latitude and Festival Republic’s Gunnersbury Park concert series, more than 15,000 samples of popchips were given away to get the taste buds of festival-goers dancing. Meanwhile, Gunnersbury Park offered 25,000 fans a unique opportunity to be completely immersed in the fun with an unforgettable music moment.
Those that love to hype up a crowd flocked to the Gunnersbury Park popchips pop-up, where fans of Tom Grennan had an exclusive chance to hear his new track and star in a popchips video. Fans got involved by popping on headphones to hear Tom’s single, ‘Higher’, the first track from the new campaign, they learnt the lyrics and sang their hearts out to the new song. Capturing these moments, popchips have shared a fan video featuring the new song. One lucky fan, Daniel Walker, was chosen for his impressive performance, and got to meet Tom and be the star of the video.

Coinciding with this, Tom Grennan announced his return online, sharing news that single ‘Higher’ will be released on September 20th via Insanity Records/Sony Music. A blast of uplifting, state-of-the-art pop, ‘Higher’ offers a thrilling first taste of the evolution of one of UK’s most exciting talents at his creative and confident best.

Winner Daniel Walker from Ashford, Surrey, had the opportunity to meet Tom Grennan with his sister Olivia at Gunnersbury Park on 10th August 2024. Daniel, a self-confessed super fan of Tom since 2017, won the opportunity to meet Tom after taking part in popchips pop-up studio, listening to a sneak peak of Tom’s new single ‘Higher’ and becoming the star of the video to the track.
Daniel is on the autistic spectrum and has a special relationship with Tom’s music, he commented: “Music is a way of expressing myself and Tom’s frequencies are very soothing and calming for me. Everyone’s equal when it comes to music, it really brings people together!”
