Brighton’s iconic seafront hotel, The Grand Brighton, will be putting a spooky spin on its traditional afternoon tea menu to celebrate Halloween. The ghoulish limited-edition menu, which will be available at the hotel’s Victoria Terrace & Lounge from 28th October – 3rd November, is perfect for those looking for fun-filled family plans over half term.
The menu will feature a fang-tastic revamp of its patisserie treats, which include a classic lemon meringue tart and a dark chocolate delice, now decorated with some tasty and spooky-themed toppings, including a pumpkin, bats and mummy faces. The white chocolate & caramel éclair’s will also be doused in extra black and orange drizzle for the ultimate thrill factor.
Guests can also enjoy a range of delicious sandwiches and savoury staples, including a pork & leek sausage roll wrapped in buttery pastry, Burford brown egg mayonnaise & cress sandwiches served on white bread, as well as some freshly baked Shipton Mill scones, served with clotted cream and Tiptree Strawberry preserve. Those with big Halloween plans can toast to the spooky season and upgrade their experience to include a crisp glass of Moët champagne or a Brighton G&T from £11.
The Grand Afternoon Tea is £40 per person. To book in for afternoon tea at The Grand, please visit www.grandbrighton.co.uk.
