The Wandle Pub, a beloved local haunt in Earlsfield, reopened on 1st August following an extensive and exciting refurbishment. The venue has undergone a spectacular enhancement to give the site a more luxurious, comfortable and modern feel. Alongside its makeover, the beloved pub is offering a brand-new seasonal menu which will feature modern British food made using only the freshest selection of seasonal produce. With fantastic service, great food and eclectic drinks, The Wandle is the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
With a new and improved design concept, The Wandle has brand-new features to help set the perfect mood. Starting with the centrepiece, a stunning wooden bar with golden pendant ceiling lights offering a soft ambience. The pub features an array of unique decorations from a vinyl collection along with vintage speakers to quirky plants and stunning tiled areas. Lastly there’s a beautiful spacious beer garden, boasting two 75-inch screens, the perfect spot to catch a match and enjoy alfresco dining during summer evenings.
The pub has also curated a vibrant events calendar, promising a welcoming atmosphere every day and night of the week. Popular weekly events include the newly-enhanced Wings Wednesday, Fizz Friday and live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Sunday is dedicated to delicious roast dinners followed by a highly-competitive quiz. From classic pub fare to contemporary culinary delights, The Wandle offers a diverse menu designed to cater to every palate. Signature dishes include the light and refreshing hot-smoked salmon with crispy Pomme Anna or the traditional battered fish and chips. Vegan and vegetarian options, such as the plant-powered cheese burger and the Heritage beetroot salad, have also been carefully crafted.
To complete the dining experience, the pub has curated an enticing dessert menu featuring modern classics like the Vanilla poached strawberry Eton mess and timeless favorites such as the Peach Melba Knickerbocker Glory.
In addition to the expanded food offerings, The Wandle has elevated its beverage selection with a carefully curated range of wines, craft beers, and innovative summer serves. Recognising the growing demand for moderation options, the pub has introduced a variety of choices to suit different preferences, including Lucky Saint draught 0.5% lager and a selection of 0% spirits.
