New data from premium ready-to-drink cocktail brand, NIO Cocktails, has revealed which cities in the UK serve the best rated cocktails!
To determine which city serves up some of the best of Britain’s favourite cocktails, NIO Cocktails analysed TripAdvisor reviews for the top 50 bars and clubs in each of the 20 UK cities analysed, marking the ones with the most amount of positive reviews for each type of cocktail.
London, Newcastle and Nottingham serve the best Margaritas
It’s been one of the most trending cocktails of the year and according to NIO Cocktail’s data, London is the place that offers the best Margarita!
With over 36 positive reviews, Margarita lovers should head to the Big Smoke to experience the best Margarita cocktail.
Newcastle came in second for being home to some of the best Margaritas you’ll have, with 21 positive reviews, followed by Nottingham with 10 reviews.
Manchester crowned the second best place for a Pornstar Martini
The Pornstar Martini has been a favourite drink choice for many Brits, and if you’re wanting to experience one of the best ones, you need to head to London, Manchester or Brighton!
With 15 positive reviews, Brighton was crowned the third city in the UK that serves the best Pornstar Martini, with London and Manchester coming in first and second place with 33 and 23 reviews respectively. .
Edinburgh named the best city for a Daiquiri
Edinburgh beats Manchester, Bristol and London to be crowned the place in the UK that serves the best Daiquiri! With 18 positive reviews, the Scottish capital is the place to go if you’re after one of the best tasting Daiquiris.
Manchester was crowned the second city that serves the best Daiquiri with 16 reviews, followed by Bristol in third place.
York serves up the best Mojito in the UK
With 41 positive reviews, York was crowned the best place in the UK for Mojito lovers! As one of the most popular drinks of summer, the Mojito offers a refreshing mix of mint, lime and rum to pack a punch of sweet flavour into your glass and York is apparently the place that provides the best Mojito you’ll ever try!
Manchester was ranked the second best place to enjoy a Mojito, with 29 positive reviews, followed by Edinburgh with 20 reviews.

Out of the 20 cities analysed, Manchester came second for the most positive reviews regarding the best Manhattan cocktail. With 5 positive reviews, the city was just pipped to the post by London with 6 reviews and Belfast coming in third place.
