Turtle Bay, the renowned Caribbean-inspired restaurant group, is excited to announce a partnership with bespoke meal-kit brand, All In A Box and their founder Chef AJ, to create a new dish, that will be introduced as a limited-time special.
The partnership between Turtle Bay and All In A Box is seamless, as both brands share a passion for incorporating a Caribbean-inspired flair when creating a vibrant, colourful atmosphere for their guests, with the flavour-packed dishes, utilising fresh ingredients.
Starting his venture in lockdown, Alexander-James (AJ) saw a gap in the market for the Home Counties that could not access Deliveroo or Uber Eats. Which is when he created ‘All In A Box’, with a ‘Chill & Grill’ ethos, offering a contactless ready-to-cook meal kit delivery that contained all the ingredients for a quintessential British BBQ portioned and flavourful marinated. Their success was widespread, which led to AJ being flown out to Germany for the EUROs 2024 to create a catering experience for the men’s England players and their friends and family. AJ has also catered for the likes of Rochelle and Marvin Humes, Shirley Ballas and Jo Malone.
To decide on which dish will remain on the menu, AJ will be hosting a tasting session at Turtle Bay in Brixton on 30th October, where guests will be able to vote between three expertly crafted dishes, These include:
- Baked coconut and spice-crumbed chicken, served with a pina colada salsa, purple slaw and scotch bonnet rice and peas
- Jerk-smoked Lamb Lollipops with griddled watermelon feta and mint salad with Caribbean couscous
- Curried Goat Burger with scotch bonnet jam, pickled red onion, plantain fries and jerk dipping broth.
Over the last few years, Turtle Bay has been working with with Jamaican celebrity chef, Collin Brown, who works as an executive chef and has injected both new flavours and ingredients into the brand, creating new dishes that have become staples on the menu.
Guests can book now for October 30th where they can visit and try out a 5-course tasting menu, where they will vote on which dish remains on the menu until 17th November.
