Wensleydale Creamery has announced the launch of a brand-new limited-edition flavour for autumn and the festive season.
The new limited-edition 200g truckle, Yorkshire Wensleydale with Cranberries, Orange & Cointreau, is available from Sainsburys stores across the country, the Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre and independent retailers, followed by a launch in Booth’s from mid-November.
Based at Hawes in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Wensleydale Creamery handcrafts speciality cheese to time-honoured recipes using milk from local farms, whilst also being innovative in its approach with the development of new cheese flavours.
The Creamery’s cheese experts have perfectly combined zesty orange with a touch of Cointreau liqueur to create a delicious twist on its much-loved and top seller Yorkshire Wensleydale & Cranberries cheese. A taste sensation, the cranberry sweetness in the creamy Yorkshire Wensleydale is perfectly balanced with the citrus orange notes, with the flavour accentuated by the orange flavoured liqueur, all wrapped in an eye catching beautifully waxed cheese truckle.
The perfect treat for cheese lovers, to be enjoyed with biscuits, or as star of the show on any cheese platter, the new flavour is sure to create some excitement!
