Research shows that salmon and crab recipe lovers would enjoy a gastronomic adventure across the scenic region of Northumberland. The findings revealed that the emerging coastal town of Amble excels in providing the freshest crab options, while Hexham and Alnwick offer an ideal setting for the most flavorful salmon.
The Scottish city of Aberdeen, and the fishing port of Peterhead boast the tastiest halibut in the whole of the UK. Whereas those with a taste for lobster can enjoy the best tasting in St. Ives or Berwickshire’s charming Eyemouth.
Mackerel and sea bass fans should consider coastal and cliffy Devon as a holiday destination of choice this summer. With Plymouth, Torquay and Salcombe producing the most hearty sea bass, and Brixham coming out on top for mackerel, those with a taste for these fish won’t be disappointed here.
