Who would have thought that a simple mistake within a science experiment would result in a casino classic that has stood the test of time and only grown bigger with popularity around the world? We are of course referring to the casino classic, Roulette.
Accidentally invented in the early 1700s by mathematician, physicist and inventor Blaise Pascal, when trying to create a perpetual motion machine, the Roulette wheel has since become an iconic casino game.
With popularity growing more and more, we wanted to refresh you with the gameplay rules as well as showcase online games that could offer you the chance to spin the wheel for less.
If you’re ready to take a spin, read on.
European Roulette
The first thing you should know about Roulette is that there are two game types – European and American. The main difference is that the European wheel has one zero pocket, whereas the American wheel has two; a single zero and double zero pocket. In this article, we’ll be concentrating on the European wheel.
Roulette is a game of luck consisting of a wheel with pocketed numbers, a coinciding betting table, chips, a small white ball and a dealer. The order of the numbers on the European Roulette wheel is as follows;
26, 3, 35, 12, 28, 7, 29, 18, 22, 9, 31, 14, 20, 1, 33, 16, 24, 5, 10, 23, 8, 30, 11, 36, 13, 27, 6, 34, 17, 25, 2, 21, 4, 19, 15, and 32.
To join a game of Roulette you must first convert your cash into chips. These chips will act as your bet stake value. Once the dealer of the table announces the betting window open, players are able to place chips down on their predictions within the betting table. When the time window has closed, the dealer will announce this and the game will begin. The dealer will then spin the Roulette wheel and enter the white ball into play. It’s only when the wheel has come to a halt that the winning number and colour will be announced. If you or any other players have guessed correctly, winning chips will be awarded to said winner, based on the type of bet they placed. If you don’t guess correctly, the losing chips will be collected by the dealer. Once this has taken place, the dealer will then announce the betting window reopen and a new game will begin.
With this in mind, we wanted to showcase some of the many games that are available to all that play online, no matter player’s bankroll limit. Here are some games to play for less than you might think:
20p Roulette
With the clue in the title, this game allows players to grab a game of Roulette from just 0.20 coins. Of course, with a low bet, prizes will not be as lavish as those placing a much higher valued stake, but then they end up risking losing more if the odds aren’t in their favour.
Players can join a game of 20p Roulette from any device they choose, as long as they have a strong and reliable internet connection.
Penny Roulette
If you thought spinning the wheel for 0.20 coins was a bargain, welcome to Penny Roulette where players – you guessed it –can play from just 0.01 coins! Like 20p Roulette, when placing a low valued chip on the Roulette table, your prize will be of smaller value than those placing higher bets, however, having the chance to play from as little as 0.01 coins opens up the game to everyone.
