The Mid Wales based producer of, premium, pure and natural honey varieties, Hilltop Honey, are delighted to announce that Kosher certification has been gained for over 20 products from five of its best-known honey ranges – British, Organic, Manuka, Speciality, Cut Comb – available in a range of hexagonal glass jars and PET 1 bottles. The certification has been gained following an audit by the Kashrut Division of the London Beth Din (KLBD).
The Kashrut Division of the London Beth Din (KLBD) is the leading UK authority on Jewish Dietary Laws. The largest Kosher certification agency in Europe and one of the top 5 in the world. Verifying that products follow the main principles of Kashrut (Kosher Laws), Kosher certification is respected and recognised worldwide.
“This is great news for anyone seeking a variety of honey and cut comb – honey in its most purest form – that can clearly be identified as Kosher. I’m delighted to be opening our, pure and natural, range of honey to new markets with the addition of the Kosher certification. It will allow a whole new group of customers, initially in the UK, to enjoy our varieties of pure and natural honey,” said Scott Davies, Managing Director of Hilltop Honey.
