Dennis Fountaine is a Technologist, Futurist and an Entrepreneurial Inventor. His first 15-minutes of fame was immediately at birth as a triplet and the fact that his parents had already given birth six years prior to twins.
Dennis was an inventor and entrepreneur from an early age. His first product, at the age of eight, was created to compete with the rest of the kids in the neighborhood who were all trying to sell Lemonade on those hot summer weekends on Long Island. Dennis never wanted to be just like everyone else, so he decided to cook hot dogs and sell beer in his parent’s driveway.
Dennis found an old piece of wood, an electrical cord and two shiny brand-new nails from his Dad’s tool box. After hammering the two nails about four inches apart into the piece of wood, he cut the female end of the electrical cord off and stripped the two ends of the wire wrapping each end around the base of each nail. Once plugged in and inserting a hot dog between the two nails – Dennis had assembled his first invention – a Hot Dog Nail Cooker.
Dennis’ Hot Dog Cooker generated numerous sales, which made the four neighborhood Lemonade Stands close up shop. It could have been the juicy hot dogs, or perhaps it was the free beer, but a traffic jam ensued as cars lined up around the block.
Eventually his parents returned from a shopping trip and needless to say they were “shocked” by what Dennis had done – he created an electrical cooking device with two bear nails hooked up to 120 volts. If anyone had touched those nails at the same time they would have been electrocuted.
His Dad also wasn’t happy about his missing beer.
His electrical invention privileges were “grounded” for several years.
After that, Dennis’ Dad would tell everyone the stories about how they’d take the family shopping to a store and suddenly all the lights would go out – Dennis had wandered off to the utility closet and turned off the master electrical switches.
Dennis continued his invention pursuits while attending the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
He created a “video booth” called the Video Capsule, which, like the old photo booths, would record a video of the User.
He then created the first Bluetooth enabled wireless earpiece for mobile phone, the first Bodycam System for Law Enforcement, various popular pet products, Ice Cream Desserts and an Robot Ice Cream Server, Caregiver voice interactive devices for the elderly and those aging in place, exercise devices for the body and brain, numerous toys and various mobile apps.
Fountaine is now developing several different products, which enables the Users to instantly change the color of their environment, fashion, or accessories.
There are numerous other innovative and exciting technologies and products that are on his drawing board for the next ten years but those have to remain top secret until their market release – so check back to discover the latest innovations from Dennis Fountaine.
