Huawei’s latest wireless earbuds product, the Freebuds Pro, was unveiled a few weeks ago. We ignored it at first, but as the earbuds became more popular, we decided to purchase one from the Huawei store to discover its new features. There’s nothing particularly startling about the Freebuds Pro box. The charging case with the earphones, the charging cord, the user handbook, and two more sizes of replaceable tips are all included.
We offer a wireless charging version of the earphones here.In addition, Huawei offers a model that does not enable wireless charging at a somewhat reduced price. If you don’t care about wireless charging, you can select the less expensive version, which has no other differences.
Upgraded the Design
Huawei has upgraded the Freebuds Pro’s design. Each bud also features excellent weight management, bringing it very close to the AirPods Pro’s wearing experience.
However, I’m not entirely satisfied with the build quality because it lacks one crucial feature: certified water resistance. The buds aren’t given an IP rating. However, we had no problems wearing them in the rain or during a sweaty workout.
Unlike some other in-ear buds I’ve tried, I didn’t have any discomfort while wearing it for a whole day. People with smaller ear canals found the Freebuds Pro to be quite comfortable, while those with somewhat more prominent ears found them to be a little loose.
Let’s take a closer look at the charging case. The case is larger than the AirPods Pro case. Each fully charged bud can play music for over 4 hours in noise-cancelling mode, and the charging case can sustain an extra 15 hours of use.
When the noise cancelling is turned off, each bud can last up to 7 hours. However, on calls, the battery life is only about 3.5 hours. The case’s charging isn’t rapid; both cable and wireless charging took over an hour.
Wireless High-quality Recording
When filming videos, feel free to zoom in for a better perspective. The sound pick-up won’t be hampered by distance with HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro’s high-quality recording, which covers a frequency range up to 20 Hz7 with a steady transmission. Everything you can hear in the actual world is accurately recreated, making it the ideal tool for vloggers.
Sleek and Edgy
The sleek and edgy Silver Frost with delicate metallic shine, the beautiful and discreet Ceramic White for a refined aesthetic, and the classic Carbon Black that works with most events are all available in the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro.
Smart Control At Fingertips
The susceptible sensor precisely responds to your commands. You can adjust the level, take calls, and change the music by swiping, pressing, or pinching. Interactions that are smart and simple to control.A single charge provides up to 8 hours of listening time with noise-cancelling set-off and up to 36 hours when combined with the charging case. 9 While on the go, you may also reverse-charge the charging case using your smartphone or tablet.
Seamless Switching
When you open the charging cover, a pop-up should display on your phone11 that asks if you want to connect for the first time or reconnect, as well as how much battery you have left.HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro can connect to two devices at once.
With its dual connection that works with smartphones, tablets, PCs, and other smart devices, you can watch a video on your tablet while taking phone calls with only a squeeze of either earbud stem. The use of a connecting switch is not required.
Wireless Earphones
On wireless earphones, tap gestures are often utilized to control playback and other functions. Because this is inconvenient, Apple changed the AirPods Pro to a squeeze gesture. So here it is: press the stalk to play or pause, then pinch and hold for a few seconds to cycle between the AI Life companion apps AND mods.
You can disable the ‘off’ mode and switch between dynamic ANC and awareness mode by pinching and holding. And, for the most part, this structure will make the most sense, as an “off” state serves little use other than to save battery life.
Even without active noise cancellation, the silicone tips filter out a lot of noise because they form a seal in your ear canal. The mediums are in place, and little or large tips can be added if necessary. You may test the fit using the app, which will play a short clip of music and use the microphones to assess whether or not there is a satisfactory seal.
