The G&V Royal Mile Edinburgh, a Hotel that is a part of the Quorvus Collection has announced that their culinary offering at Cucina has been awarded the Italian Restaurant of the Year. The prestigious award has been given to the restaurant as a part of the Luxury Travel Guide Europe Awards 2017.
This accolade and title is the highest possible praise that can be given to Italian restaurants in Europe. Cucina has been given this prestigious Award in order to showcase their excellent service, authentic menu and quality produce used in the restaurant.
Mattia Camorani, the well-known and celebrated Bolognan chef is heading up the team of Scotland’s finest culinary talent at Cucina. At G&V’s signature restaurant offers a sophisticated and metropolitan take on a range of authentic Italian dishes. The restaurant has a seasonal menu that uses sustainable, local ingredients. One of these ingredients is the honey that is sourced from beehives on the hotel’s rooftop. The rooftop beehives are home to 180,000 G&Bees.
The stylish restaurant can be found in the heart of Edinburgh, on the Royal Mile. Cucina has also recently undergone the undergone a quirky renovation. The design of this new revamp was created by the local design duo Timorous Beasties in order to create a unique and tailored interior to the restaurant with a design that reflects the playful innovation demonstrated in the dishes.
